1 1.1.2010 House Fire, Far Meadow Road

Both crews were called to this flat, on the morning of the new year. Extensive damage inside the property, but the crews dealt with it quickly using 2 BA wearers and a hose reel. Fire Investigation was called in and Scenes Of Crime from the Police.

2 1.1.2010 Fuel Spillage, Southern Avenue

The crew of 521 were called to deal with this spill, they were back on station within the hour.

3 2.1.2010 AFA Morris mews

521 attended this AFA. They were delayed a while whilst keys were found to offices on the first floor. A Thermal Image Camera was used to ensure no fire source within the walls

4 2.1.2010 Chip Pan Fire etnam Street

Both pumps were called, the fire was out on arrival but the crews ventilated the property.

5 4.1.2010 Car Fire A49 South

521 was called but was soon joined by 522, as a car had caught fire near the filling station at the bottom of Dinmore Hill. The car was extinguished quickly by 2BA wearers using 2 hose reels. The road was then gritted by the local authorities.

6 7.1.2010 Smoke Issuing Waverly House

Both pumps an ambulance and the police were called to this incident at 3:00 in the morning. The weather was very cold (-11) the use of an industrial sized tumble dryer resulted in a plume of vapour which looked like smoke to a neighbour.

7 11.1.2010 Water In Electrics

521 was called to this water leak at Stoke Prior. The electrics was isolated and left with the owner.

8 12.1.2010 AFA Muscat Development

521 called again to an AFA. The system was discoved to be faulty and engineers were called out

9 13.1.2010 Electrics in Black Swan Walk

The police called the service to assist with electrics smoking in the alley next to the Black Swan Public House. The area was taped off by the crew of 521 until the supply was isolated.

10 16.1.2010 Train Crash, Moreton

An RTC involving a train and 2 cars, Hereford crews dealt with the incident.

11 18.1.2010 AFA Broad Street

The alarm was raised to a property in Broad Street, The crew of 521 had trouble gaining entry and no key holder was available. The use of ladders and thermal image showed there was no fire.

12 20.1.2010 AFA Dinmore Manor

Again 521 attended, an electrical fault had triggered the call

13 27.1.2010 Carbon Monoxide Alarm, Kingsland

511 attended this address in responce to a carbon monixide alarm. The crew of 522 were called to assist with the gas monitor that is carrie don the pump. 2 BA wearers did a sweep of the building before an all clear was given

14 31.1.2010 Roof Fire Newton

Both pumps were called and were joined by Kingsland when the officer made pumps 3. There was an electrical fault in the roof which had caused some of the insulation to burn. The occupier, an 86 year old was attended to by fire service personne before being taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution.

15 1.2.2010 Gas Leak South Street

521 were called to a suspected gas leak, using the gas monitor from 522, the crew were able to give the all clear and pass the incident over to the police.

16 5.2.2010 RTC Burghill

522 was asked to assist at this RTC whilst the Hereford pumps were at another incident. Fortunately the Heeford pumps became available and 522 was able to return to home station.

17 7.2.2010 AFA Focus DIY

An early start for the crew of 521. The alarms at the DIY superstore had been activated by accident.

18 7.2.2010 RTC Make Safe Ivington.

A driver had skidded in the ice and managed to crash in to railings by one of Ivingtons many brookes. No body was hurt and the crew of 521 soon made the vehicle safe.

19 8.2.2010 Hotel Fire Leintwardine

522 and 521 were both mobilised to this 6 pump incident. Whilst the crews of 521 provided incident command support, 522 was used to ferry water.

20 12.2.2010 Train Fire, just outside Leominster

Both pumps attended a call to the railway line. A locked wheel on a passenger train had begun to smoke. The service were not required as the railways dealt with the incident.

21 14.2.2010 Kitchen Fire Blanchard Close

A smoke alarm activated from a house alerted the neighbours. Both pumps attended and access was gained to discover a water leak had caused the electrics to short and activate the alarm. The water was issolated and the incident left with the neighbour.

22 22.2.2010 RTC Wigmore

522 was mobilised to assist Leintwardine. The incident was scaled down before Leominster attended so the crew were turned back to home station.

23 22.2.2010 RTC Bucknall

For the secondtime in the day 522 was asked to assist Leintwardine, they already had the support of the Ludlow crew, Leominster was turned back to home station.

24 24.2.2010 Shed Fire Bodenham

Both Leominster pumps and a pump from Hereford attended this shed. It was given as domestic oil tank. The tank had soon burnt out leaving a considerable shed fire. The fire was dealt with quickly although the Leominster crews were detained fo a considerable time.

25 25.2.2010 Carbon Monoxide Gas

The rescue pump, 522, carries a gas monitor so was requested by Leintwardine to attend a posible carbon monoxide poisoning. The ambulace crew, in attendance contacted control to stand 522 down.

26 25.2.2010 House Fire Hampton Gardens

Both pumps attended this 5 pumps terrace house fire. The area has limited access, with poor parking by the local residents meant a slight delay. The crews soon had the house under control,and neighbouring properties were unaffected by the fire.

27 26.2.2010 Reinspection of above

A crew in 521 was despatched to re-visit the property to ensure the fire was all out.

28 26.2.2010 RTC Mortimers Cross

522 joined 511 at this incident. It was discovered that the incident had occured the previous night but the cashed car was left precariously perched on a hedge.

29 26.2.2010 RTC A49 South of Leominster

Both pumps were joined by a road ambulance and 2 air ambulances. A car had been in colision with a lorry and ended up on its side in a ditch. The roof was removed and the two elderly occupants helped to the awaiting ambulace crews.

30 26.2.2010 Chemical Incident Shobden

522 attended along with 511and the services specialist crews, to an apparent attack on a local property with an unknown white powder. After many hours and at a great deal of cost the Scientific Services Officer concluded the powder was an inert product.

31 26.2.2010 House Fire Portersmill Close

Whilst 522 was attending the above "incident" 521 and a Tenbury pump attended a house fire on the out skirts of town. Fortunately it was a small fire in a down stais toilet. This was soon dealt with by the leominster crew.

32 27.2.2010 RTC Bromyard Road Tenbury

Having finished at the Shobden incident 522 was asked to attend an RTC in Tenbury. Whilst proceeding Tenburys pump in Leominster became available and proceeded to the job. Leominsters rescue pump was stood down as it entred Tenbury.

33 28.2.2010 AFA Kaleidoscope Care

521 attended this defective detector head.

34 2.3.2010 House Fire Battlebridge Close

Both pumps attended the address in Battlebridge, 2 BA wearers discovered an electrical appliance had been left on and scorched the carpets.
